Mission Statement

Examine whether the State Bar should develop a regulatory requirement for a pre-admission practical skills training program, and if so, propose such a program to the Supreme Court.

On Oct. 12, 2013, following a 45-day public comment period, the Board of Trustees adopted the Phase I Final Proposals for a Competency Training Requirement.

Additionally, the Board of Trustees authorized the creation of a special committee to devise an implementation plan for the Phase I Final proposals.
