General Clerk III

Department: Admissions
Description: The General Clerk III (GCIII), under general direction, performs a variety of clerical support duties, assist internal and external individuals with general inquiries and/or refer the individual to the appropriate person and relieve staff members of general office clerical details. The General Clerk III is distinguished from the General Clerk I/II by the level of experience required and the degree of skill applied to the job duties.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and One (1) year office experience developing required skills.  Successful completion of the State Bar validated standard tests for the position.  Accomplished computer keyboarding skills.

Information Technology Analyst II (Los Angeles/San Francisco)

Department: Information Technology
Description: Performs professional duties related to the analysis, development, maintenance and administration of computer hardware and software systems to meet business needs. Incumbents may perform any of the following functions: analyzes, designs, monitors and administers servers and related platforms; designs, maintains, configures and monitors network and/or telecommunications infrastructures and related system components; consults with departmental customers to identify and analyze business functions that can be improved by the implementation of new hardware and/or software solutions; designs and develops custom applications and/or enhances/modifies existing applications; performs professional-level systems maintenance and customer support duties; and performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Equivalent to the completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in computer science, information technology or a closely related field. Possession of one or more approved information technology certificates and/or completion of other approved technology related training may substitute for some or all of the required education. Two years of full time, progressively responsible experience in the analysis and troubleshooting of computer applications and operations is desirable.

Investigator Supervisor

Department: Chief Trial Counsel / Investigation
Description: The IS supervises others who investigate complaints of attorney misconduct filed by the general public, courts and other entities. The IS directs, supervises, and collaborates, with other investigators who collect evidence to support allegations, researches case and statutory laws, interviews witnesses, and works with prosecutors to determine an appropriate course of action. Must have 5 years investigation experience in a similar capacity and knowledge of techniques & procedures of investigations, legal analysis, rules of evidence, court procedures, methods to locate persons, effective interviewing techniques, excellent written/verbal communication, organizational, and computer and case management skills, and at least two years of supervisory experience.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a field that develops skills related to investigation; minimum five (5) years experience in an investigative position; minimum two (2) years supervisory experience, which may be included in the previous qualification; must be bondable, have valid California driver's license, and immediate, unlimited access to an automobile; proof of automobile insurance coverage will be required at the time of employment; successful completion of the State Bar validated standard tests for the position; accomplished computer keyboarding skills.
