STATE BAR SETS DATES FOR ANNUAL PUBLIC HEARINGS

San Francisco, Oct. 31, 2012 – Members of the public and the legal profession will have an opportunity to provide input on the attorney discipline process, the admissions process and other issues concerning attorney competence at two upcoming public hearings.

The hearings will be held:

Tuesday, Dec. 11

SAN FRANCISCO
Thursday, Dec. 13
10 a.m.
The State Bar of California
180 Howard St., 4th floor
San Francisco, CA 94105

The hearings will conclude when all speakers present have addressed the panel of State Bar representatives. Individuals who wish to speak at the hearing and/or present written materials should contact Lauren McCurdy at 415-538-2107, lauren.mccurdy@calbar.ca.gov by Tuesday, Dec. 4.
