The Legal Services Trust Fund Program of The State Bar of California administers three funds: Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (IOLTA), the state Equal Access Fund (EAF) and the Justice Gap Fund. These funds are granted to nonprofit organizations that provide free civil legal services to low-income Californians. Visit their websites below. Eligible organizations provide free legal services to clients, provided by licensed attorneys or other supervised by licensed attorneys.
Support Centers are organizations whose main purpose is to provide legal technical assistance, legal training or advocacy support. This means they don’t provide direct legal services, but provide help for organizations that do.
