The Live Scan vendor is requesting a rejection notice that was issued by the DOJ or FBI. How do I obtain a copy of this rejection notice? How is this information different from the State Bar-issued rejection emails?
You can email the State Bar and request a copy of your DOJ/FBI rejection notice. These notices include information on the reason the DOJ and/or FBI rejected your fingerprints. The State Bar reviews each response and provides attorney a rejection email that summarizes the reason for rejection and details the necessary steps to successfully re-submit fingerprints.
*The fingerprinting deadline falls on Sunday, December 1, 2019. Please note that Active attorneys who still have not complied by day’s end on Monday, December 2, 2019, will be enrolled as Involuntarily Inactive effective December 3, 2019
If you have additional questions, please contact the Office of Licensee Regulation and Compliance at 888-800-3400 or email your questions to FingerprintRequirements@calbar.ca.gov.
