The Taxation Section functions largely through its Committees. Committees address tax issues related to specific tax topics and tax practitioners. The Committees plan programs, prepare position papers and communicate with their members through email, meetings, newsletters and conference calls. You may join one or more Committees free of charge.
While we desire and encourage your enrollment in as many Committees and Public Outreach Programs as you wish, we encourage you to become active in at least one. Without your individual involvement, the Committees have no purpose.
The first step is to sign up for email updates from the committee or committees that interest you!
To add yourself to a committee email list, go to Change My Email Addresses and List Subscriptions in My State Bar Profile. You will need to sign into My State Bar Profile to access this page. Check the boxes of the lists you want to join, and then click on "Update Subscriptions" at the bottom of the screen.
Changed e-mail address? You can also update your address of record and e-mail address as part of My State Bar Profile. For information about how to change your e-mail address and other contact information, see Address Maintenance.
PLEASE NOTE: You will not be able to sign up for these lists unless you are a current Taxation Section Member. The option is available only for current members, so please enroll in the Section.
