CORRESPONDENCE LAW SCHOOLS IN CALIFORNIA
The following institutions have registered with the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California as offering correspondence law study courses and that have filed the reports required by Rule XIX of the Rules Regulating Admission to Practice Law in California (Admission Rules).
This list is published for information only. The Committee of Bar Examiners does not approve or accredit correspondence schools. The Office of Admissions cannot advise prospective applicants on the advantages or disadvantages of studying law by correspondence or in residence, or on the merits of attending an unaccredited or accredited institution. Prospective applicants should refer to available resources such as public libraries, prelegal advisers located on college or university campuses, other career counselors, etc.
Those applicants seeking admission to practice law in California will receive credit for their correspondence law study only if such study is completed in accordance with the Admission Rules.
