Under the direction of the California Supreme Court, the October 5–6, 2020, bar exam will be administered primarily online.
The information below is for those approved for testing accommodations that cannot effectively be provided remotely and those with extenuating circumstances preventing them from taking the exam online, who will be accommodated at limited in-person testing locations.
The State Bar recognizes that this is a difficult time for test takers and is doing everything it can—following state and national public health guidelines—to provide a safe and secure testing environment.
Below are measures being taken at test centers to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
