The public and attorneys have an opportunity to submit written comments about policy issues before the Board of Trustees. These issues may include proposals such as amendments to the Rules of Professional Conduct and ethics opinions. Please note that comments and materials received will, in full, become part of the public record. Comments may be directed to the address listed on each proposal.

The State Bar seeks public comment on a proposed amended Conflict of Interest Code for the Board of Trustees of the State Bar of California. The proposed amended code comprises the proposed amended code approved by the Board of Trustees at its meeting on July 20-21, 2023, plus further revisions sent by the Chief Justice of California to the State Bar on August 31, 2023.
