Committee of Bar Examiners recruitment

The State Bar is accepting applications for an attorney position on the Committee of Bar Examiners (CBE). Pursuant to rule 9.4 of the California Rules of Court, this recruitment is for an attorney who has been admitted to practice law in California within three years of the date of appointment.

Applications will be accepted through October 16, 2026.

The State Bar is committed to ensuring that its committees include a broad and diverse range of perspectives and experiences. We are making a particular effort to increase awareness of this opportunity among newly admitted women attorneys, while welcoming applications from all attorneys who meet the requirements of the position.
