Employees who retire from the State Bar and meet the eligibility requirements set forth in the State Bar of California Post-Retirement Welfare Benefits Plan can participate in retiree medical and vision benefits.
The Commuter Benefits program allows employees who take public transportation and/or who park at nearby parking garages to save money. The State Bar contributes up to $125 per month for commuter expenses. Employees can save up to $1,500 per year!
The State Bar pays the annual licensing fees as set forth in Business and Professional Code for all regular full-time employees in the Attorney Unit. There is a maximum annual subsidy of $250 for certain licenses and certifications for employees in the General Unit.
