Concerns About an Attorney

The State Bar of California’s highest priority is to protect the public. We license, regulate, and discipline approximately 260,000 attorneys in California, investigating allegations of attorney misconduct and complaints against individuals who engage in the unauthorized practice of law. If you have concerns about an attorney, we have resources to help you understand your options.
