Comparable Banks

Comparable Banks are financial institutions that volunteer to pay interest rates or dividends on IOLTAs that are comparable to or higher than those paid on similarly situated non-IOLTAs and may charge fees. The IOLTA income from interest rates paid by these banks is generally significantly lower than the IOLTA income paid by Leadership and ECR Financial Institutions. This means you provide much greater assistance to civil legal aid in California by opening or maintaining an IOLTA with a Leadership or ECR Financial Institution.
